Hey guys, Just to officially confirm - yes, the Ubisoft Connect PC client is required to be able to launch the game. It isn't possible to bypass this stage. Sorry for any disappointment caused and to hear this has lead to you opting to refund the game. If there is ever anything further we can help with at all, please don't hesitate to let us know.
If you right-click on the game in your Steam Library, do you get a "View CD Key" option? Nope. The game activated after the game finally got past the "first time setup" dialog that did absolutely nothing. Now I have a different problem, Far Cry 4 refuses to go to the main menu from the "Login Successful" screen
First: Try cancelling the installation process at that point. Is Space Engineers in your library? If it is just try to launch it and see if it runs. Second Suggestion: Steams new UI is causing some really strange issues for some people that it shouldn't have an effect on. Try using the old Steam Client UI. Here's instructions on how to:
Booted in safe mode with Networking to launch the game (which it did launch in) and then reboot back into normal but had no luck (this was per a previous discussion thread). I'm all out of ideas at this point. I also know this was a problem with other Far Cry's but I never had the issue and just to confirm, I can still boot Far Cry 4
The game is Installed on steam, or Just on my disk drive. I tried to sign up for Ubisoft connect, but its saying that my email is already used for another account even when I have never had an account, and Ubisoft connect is not installed/running. I have not reviewed the pcgamingwiki page. r/farcry.
Thank you for contacting Steam Support. If you are running in Windows Vista or Windows 7, please completely exit Steam, and right-click on the shortcut which you use to launch Steam and select "Run as Administrator." If you are running in Windows XP, take the following steps: 1) Exit Steam.
Feb 3, 2016. #1. Alright, I've tried to fix this issue numerous times to no avail. Basically, for those who do not know, when using an Xbox controller (i've read that people experience these issues with other brands too) to play FC4, there are NUMEROUS game breaking problems. The game won't load elements correctly, quest progression is utterly
What I noticed worked was running Steam in administrator mode. To do this, shut down Steam through task manager, find the Steam app/desktop app, right click it and run it as admin. That worked for me. If it doesn't, browse Far Cry's local files, go to "bin" and set all of the FarCry5 exe's to administrator priviliges in properties >compatibility.
Try to remove the Steam Files from the game directory if you were launching it with uplay ++ if you baught it from steam and moved the key to uplay you have to open both uplay and steam and if you lost on of them accounts you'll not be able to play !
Hi, i am unable to play far cry 4 through steam family sharing even though i have access to the owners uplay account. when trying to launch from uplay, steam will say that the game is running.
Game have not crashed since I done that. My specs: Intel i7-2600K 3.40 Ghz, 8 Gb Ram EVGA GTX 570 SC, Windows 7. I run game on High settings with V-sync on, it runs smooth and performence is fine as usual for GTX 570 one of the best cards I owned. Hope this will help. #7. допаминовые мечты Nov 25, 2014 @ 11:16am.
